1930s: Mercedes SSK “Count Trossi”

Customised for  Italian racing driver Count Carlo Felice Trossi (1908-1949), the Mercedes-Benz SSK roadster was built between 1928 and 1932. SSK stands for  “Super Sport Kurz”, translated as "Super Sport Short" - the model had a shorter wheelbase than the “S” model. This model is now owned by Ralph Lauren.
